Ethiopia
Ethiopia is a country in north western Africa. Ethiopia is a country with little water, and what water it does have is usually dirty or muddy. This is an example of Nutrients pollution. There are not enough nutrients in the water so the water is muddy. This makes water unhealthy for the residential people that live there. But that is the only water they have there. So they are forced to drink it. But that leads to something else. People can get sick from this water, the water is so bad for them there that some of the people die from extreme diarrhea. Ethiopia is #55 for the most polluted country for water.
Isreal
Isreal is the number one most polluted country, water, in the world! 80 pecent of the water is north of the country, the other 20 percent is towards the south. Water quality is an issue of equal importance to water scarcity, and water quality degradation is a considerable issue in water management. The quality of supplied water in Israel varies from very low salinity water (10 mg/l of chlorides) from the Upper Jordan River, 200 mg/l from the Kinneret, and more than 1500 mg/l from groundwater sources in the south. Groundwater exploitation is controlled to prevent seawater intrusion to the Coastal Aquifer and movement of saline water bodies within the Karstic Limestone Aquifer.
America
America is the number 30 in countries with the most water pollution. Most of this pollution comes from California, Florida, or New York. 49 states in America has contaminated groundwater. The famouse Great Lakes, in America, are extremely polluted. During the 18th and 19th century most of the factories and companies used the Great Lakes as garbage cans. Dumping all of their waste into our waters.
